  • Summary: Adds realism to game
  • Comment: This is one of my favorites of the Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs that I own.
    PROS:
1.Variety to weather: which makes the game more realistic.
2.Ability to customize weather to specific neighborhoods: which is useful for , let's say, a desert town like Strangetown.
3.Fishing and harvestable crops: Also adds more to the game.
4.More stuff! Country build set and outerwear...

    CONS:
1.You must keep an eye on your sim's temperature gauge! There is a feature that tells you if the sim is overheated or freezing. Again, more realism, but I find this annoying sometimes.
2.I'd like to see more snow in wintertime. I think there is an aspiration reward that allows you to control the weather up to X number of times, but I haven't tried it out yet.

  • Summary: Definately makes the game more real
  • Comment: In the game your sims can finally garden and with the jucier they can make energy drinks, love potions, etc. Theres a garden club, a new supernatural being called a plantsim, a wishing well, rain, lightning, snow and hail. You can also control the neighborhood seasons. This 2 disk set offered more than just weather. You have new clothes including outerwear and new items and family activities. Its fun and I love it. :)

  • Summary: Always Weather?
  • Comment: I had very high hopes for this expansion pack, but it seems as if most of them were not met. I don't know if I am the only person that has problems with this, but there is always some kind of weather going on, and my sims are spending half thier day looking out the window.
Also I think that summer should have been made so that there was no school. It seems like EA is dead-set on making it so that the sims kids HAVE to go to school. I liked the new interactions that came with this, but the penguin confused me. There is no point to it.
While I think that this isn't the worst EP I have no idea why everyone says it is thier favorite. I personally don't like my kids getting up at one in the morning to look at the light shower.
It is definetly worth getting, but I think there is too much hype about it especially because of the constant weather. There is never a day where I don't have to worry about getting my kids in the right attire for outside.

  • Summary: It was pretty good
  • Comment: I love vampires, and now I love plantsims! They are so adorable, and I want one of very own!! I'm an avid gardener, so that helps too. It gets pretty laggy with extreme weather- fyi.

  • Summary: Gets a bit boring, but is still fun
  • Comment: Well a few weeks ago I bought this game at sales price. A big mistake. It is very fun in the beginning, but as you play it gets boring quickly.
    Pros:
    -Awsome Furniture
-PlantSims, which are perfect for begginers
    -Actuall gardening
    -New lots
-Riverblossom Hills, which adds a country feel
    Cons:
    -More micro-manegment
    -Holiday pack NOT includid
-More chances of a child being taken by the social worker
-No new hobbies items unless you count the roller rink and ice skating rink
    In conclusion:
Wait for a sale to buy it at about $10 or less. It is not worth the full price.
